Providing a recruiting service involves the collection, evaluation and disclosure of personal information to clients seeking to recruit new employees. Protecting this personal information and ensuring its integrity are, therefore, high priorities.
At Specto, we are committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal information. Security measures are in place to protect personal information against unauthorized access or disclosure. Specto employees with access to personal information may only use such information in accordance with the law governing Privacy of Personal Information.
Confidentiality and Personal Information Collected
Specto places great emphasis on confidentiality and privacy of information sought by applicants in a job search.
Specto maintains a Confidential Database of resumes received from qualified technical professionals and applicants seeking consideration for employment. This Resume Database, along with current addresses, telephone numbers and related contact and interview information provided by applicants when inquiring about employment, is maintained in a secure environment. We receive and maintain any information you give us in strict confidence.
Specto stores your resume in a secure database to which only our staff has access. The database is only used for analyzing and matching information to suitable job opportunities. If your skills do not match our current availabilities, we will consider your application in all relevant future staffing projects.
Specto does not share your resume with other recruiting companies. We present your resume to our clients ONLY after discussing the particular job opportunity with you, at which time we will reveal the name and basic information about the company to you. We will then ask for your approval before submitting your resume to this company on your behalf. If any applicant is concerned about confidentiality, please review our Privacy Policy and feel free to Contact Us with any questions.
Specto will periodically ask an applicant to update his/her personal information when conducting a search for qualified applicants to fill a new position. Applicants are also asked to take the initiative to update their personal information when there are significant changes to qualifications, experience, employment preferences or contact information.
Candidate personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfil our recruiting responsibilities and legal requirements governing retention of such records. When dated and no longer of use such records are removed from the Confidential Database.
Use of Personal Information
Personal information, resumes and contact information provided by you to Specto will only be used for the purpose of evaluating your suitability for employment in current and future employment opportunities received from our clients.
The personal information provided by you is used solely in assisting you in your search for employment; we do not sell or distribute applicant/candidate lists or personal information to any other party.
Consent to Use and Disclosure
When applying for a position through Specto and providing us with your resume and other personal information, we understand that you are giving us permission to use and disclose information about you to a prospective employer for the purpose of having you considered for employment.
You may withdraw your consent to future use and disclosure of this information at any time. We understand that at the point you are no longer interested in being considered for relevant employment opportunities.
